What do the different levels in the handbook mean?

Question:

What do the different levels in the handbook mean?

Answer:

You may notice in the handbook page for your degree, a list of units beneath different levels are indicated ie 100 level, 200 level and 300 level.

100 level units are typically your introductory or first year units and form the basis of your knowledge within your degree or major. These are usually the prerequisites for 200 level units, and 200 level units for 300 level units.

These prerequisites tend to be specific units and/or a certain amount of credit points that are required to be completed beforehand.
