How do I get Recognition for prior learning (RPL) in OUA?

Question:

How do I get Recognition for prior learning (RPL) in OUA?

Answer:

To apply for recognition of prior learning, you must firstly be registered for the Macquarie BA (OUA).

Students begin the Macquarie BA (OUA) by undertaking individual units.  Once you have completed  4  OUA units of study, you may register in the degree. At that time, you may also apply for credit for your previous studies.

A maximum of 7 units of unspecified credit (4 x level 1 units, 2 x level 2 units and 1 x level 3 units) may be granted towards the BA (OUA), if previous undergraduate studies were successfully undertaken at an Australian university in the last 10 years.

RPL will be applied as elective units only. Specified credit is not granted in the Macquarie BA (OUA), unless previous studies were undertaken at Macquarie University. In the case that previous studies were completed at Macquarie University assessment of specified credit will be assessed individually.
