I am interested in doing the Macquarie Bachelor of Arts degree online. What should I do?

Question:

I am interested in doing the Macquarie Bachelor of Arts degree online. What should I do?

Answer:

Macquarie University offers a Bachelor of Arts degree, through Open Universities Australia. Please see the Open Universities Australia website for all course information and registration details, including costs and details of all units. All Macquarie units are taught online, so access to the Internet is essential. There is no residential component.

Students begin by enrolling in individual units of study. Once 4 OUA units of study have been successfully completed, or if you have obtained 2 credits or above after completing 2 units, students may register for the Macquarie BA (OUA). The units already completed will be counted as part of the BA degree.

There are 24 units of study in the degree. Students choose from one of the following 7 majors but can choose two majors if they wish:

Cultural Studies

English

Ancient History

Modern History

Philosophy

Politics

Sociology
