I am an undergraduate student. When should I fill out the "I Expect to Complete" form?

Question:

I am an undergraduate student. When should I fill out the "I Expect to Complete" form?

Answer:

At the beginning of your final year of study, you need to submit the online "I Expect to Complete" form via ask.mq.edu.au.  Once it is received, we will ensure that your record is checked when your final results are released to see if you qualify to graduate.  When you qualify a Completion Letter will be sent to your MQ student email address.  If you do not meet the requirements of your program you will remain admitted to your degree.

The link is available on student's 'My Stuff' page under the heading of Graduation - I expect to complete.

The submission of this form does not automatically mean you will qualify for your award.  Before you submit your form it is advisable to check that you will meet the requirements to qualify for your course.  You can do this by consulting the Macquarie University Handbook for the year of entry into your program or by contacting an academic advisor.  For any further assistance with this process, you may wish to submit an online enquiry

The University does not contact students who submitted the "I Expect to Complete" form but who don't meet the degree requirements, the students will remain admitted to their program.

Please submit the form by the following dates:

  • by 2nd April for students completing their programs at the end of 2018 Session 1, for September graduation in 2018
