What is copyright and how does it affect me?

Question:

What is copyright and how does it affect me?

Answer:

Copyright laws are in place to protect the legal rights of the creators of original material. You can access a vast amount of copyright material for use in your research and study under the copyright licences held by the university, but be aware of the limitations.

Please read the copyright notices on photocopiers, printers and computers on campus to clearly understand what you can and cannot do.
