What is the cost involved with participating in a PACE International activity? What is included in this cost?

Answer:

PACE International activities have a a student contribution amount ranging from $1500-$4500 depending on where you go, the work you complete and the length of the activity. The student contribution amount generally includes:

    •    health checks

    •    travel insurance

    •    pre-departure sessions

    •    in-country orientation

    •    in-country program and risk management

    •    accommodation and most meals

    •    in-country logistics

    •    activity costs (e.g field trips)

    •    re-entry sessions

    •    certificate of participation

 

On top of the activity contribution amount, you will also need to budget and pay for the following:

        •    Police checks

•    international flights

•    visas and vaccinations (if needed)

•    optional activities and incidental expenses you may incur such as phone calls, laundry, and spending money.

To help provide further financial support for these costs, all eligible students receive a travel grant between $1,200 - $3,000 on acceptance into PACE international and can also apply for an OS-HELP loan or equity grant.
