Question:

I'm enrolled in an undergraduate degree at Macquarie University and I wish to change my major. How do I do this?

Answer:

It is always recommended that you seek academic advice before you change your major. Before submitting a request please check that:

    •    your course has a qualifying major as part of its degree requirements
    •    the major you wish to change to is either (a) offered for your current course or (b) offered in the same curriculum (year) that you are currently following

Requests to change your major within the SAME Faculty can be made on this website after the release of exam results eg July and December of each year. If you want to change your major outside of this time, you will need to submit an online request.

Requests to change your major to a DIFFERENT Faculty will be processed after examination results have been finalised eg July and December of each year. Applications are submitted online here.
