When is the Student Amenities Fee (SAF) due? Can I defer payment?

Question:

When is the Student Amenities Fee (SAF) due? Can I defer payment?

Answer:

When is the Student Amenities Fee (SSAF) due? Can I defer payment?

The Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) must be paid up front or can be deferred if you lodge an SA-HELP form by the by the relevant census date. Once an SA-HELP form is lodged fees for all subsequent sessions in your course will be deferred unless you choose to make an upfront payment by the census date for the relevant session. The option to defer this fee is only available to Australian Citizens, eligible New Zealand citizens and Humanitarian visa holders.

If you are not eligible for SA-HELP by way of citizenship or have not submitted a form by the relevant census date then you are required to pay your SSAF upfront to the University.

Please note: you can not use a HECS-HELP or FEE- HELP form to defer these fees. You will need an SA-HELP form.

You can find more information on the SAF webpage, or you can click here to submit an online enquiry if you require further assistance.
