What is the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF)?

Answer:

The Government introduced a new Student Services and Amenities Fee in 2012. The revenue generated from the SSAF helps Macquarie provide a range of services and facilities for students across the campus.

 

If this fee applies to you, it will show in eStudent under the MY FINANCES tab once you enrol. This fee will automatically adjust if you change your enrolment. The final amount for this fee will be based on your study load at the census date for a session.

The SA-HELP form needs to be completed to defer the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). The form can be found on the MY OFFER or the MY FINANCES tab in eStudent by following the steps below:

 

  1. Click on the 'Submit Commonwealth Assistance Form' heading.
  2. Click on 'Enter a New Commonwealth Assistance Form' highlighting the button for your current course.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select 'Choose a different form'
  4. Select 'Request for SA HELP' against form."
  5. Complete form
