How can I fit my participation in a PACE International activity around my studies?

Question:

How can I fit my participation in a PACE International activity around my studies?

Answer:

All  PACE International activities are designed with your studies in mind and most are held during the Winter Vacation (June-July) and Session 3 (December-February) each year.

You can consider the following options when completing an activity with PACE International:

  • participate in an activity linked to an academic unit which will count for credit toward your degree - all of our activities have this option. You will need to look into how one of the available units can fit into your degree plan and be eligible to take the course based on any relevant pre-requisites.
  • participate in an activity in a co-curricular stream (externally from your studies) - these are available on some activities during the Winter Vacation (June-July) and Session 3 (December-February) each year. Co-curricular streams do not count for credit and so it would be for the experience itself. Any student can apply for these activities from any faculty or department and participating in them will not affect your studies as they take place between the end of the exam period and the start of the following semester.

For full details of both types of activity options, please see the PACE International website
