I didn't attend my graduation ceremony. When will I receive my documents?

Question:

I didn't attend my graduation ceremony. When will I receive my documents?

Answer:

You need to select MAIL/COURIER/COLLECT on eStudent before the RSVP date. If you are unable to modify your preference on eStudent then you will need to contact the Graduations Team directly via email with your preference.  Email: graduation@mq.edu.au

  • MAIL: Graduation documents are sent free of charge and mailing commences approximately 3 weeks after the end of a graduation series. Students must ensure their preferred postal address on eStudent is up to date and allow at least 3 weeks (8 weeks international) for delivery before inquiring about documents not received.
  • COURIER: Fees apply for this option. Australian addresses are sent by Express Post ($16.50) and international addresses are sent via Courier ($50). Graduation documents are sent as soon as possible after the conferral date.
  • COLLECT: Collection is available at Student Connect approximately 3 weeks after the end of a graduation series. To authorise a proxy to collect your graduation documents please send a request with details from your student email or ask.mq.edu.au. The request should include the full name and date of birth of the person collecting the documents. Graduates and third parties will also need to bring a valid form of photo identification (eg. passport, driver licence) to collect documents.

2020 graduates: If you were unable to attend your ceremony due in 2020 due to COVID-19, you will receive an graduation invitation to your student email account once it is deemed safe by the government and University.
