Can I enrol in more than 40 credit points (Credit Overload) this session?

Question:

Can I enrol in more than 40 credit points (Credit Overload) this session?

Answer:

Enrolling in more than 40 credit points for Session 1 or 2, or more than 20 credit points in Session 3, is called Credit Overload.  If you want to enrol in more than the standard number of credit points for any session, you need to get academic approval from the Faculty.  To apply for credit overload please use the AskMQ Credit Overload form.  This will be forwarded to the faculty for approval then processed by Student Connect.

Credit overload requests for the upcoming session(s) must be submitted by close of business Friday, Week 1 of Session.

The outcome of your application will be sent to your student email account.  Before submitting your application, please check the Handbook to make sure you meet the unit requirements.

You can find out more on our Credit Overload web page.
